Your cartridge will be housed in a blue casing, Please ensure that you do have the Tecnik TKWFCP05/ TM90040/ 4600PURI OR THE 4600NEW before purchasing the filter, as we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of this filter in any other tap.
Water quality varies considerably from place to place and even from day to day. This is turn has an effect on the life of the cartridge. To ensure that your Tecnik water filter is always working well we recommend that the cartridge is changed regularly, at least every 6 Months, or 3000 litres.
Side valve for the Tecnik Clearflow TKWFCP05, TM90040, 4600PURI Water Filter Kitchen Tap
Located underneath the small tap that is used to activate the Tecnik water filter.
If your water filter tap is dripping from the end of the spout (where the water comes out from normally) then it is likely that you will need to replace the side valve.
Sometimes, you will need to replace both the 40mm Cartridge & the Gacos in your Tecnik Clearflow filter tap (4600PURI, TKWFC05, TM90040).

40mm ceramic disc cartridge for the Tecnik Clear Flow TKWFCP05, TM90040, 4600PURI filter tap.
Underneath the tap handle is the 40mm ceramic disc cartridge for this tap. When the handle is lifted, the cartridge allows water to pass through, turning the tap on and off.
As with all moving parts, this can sometimes wear out. If your tap starts to leak from underneath the handle, it is likely that you will need to replace the cartridge.
